The most distinguishing feature of this tree are its leaves which have a white whooly underside that is easily discernible amongst other trees. The wood is brittle and easily decayed. The tree will send out multiple root suckers in attempts to regenerate. This tree is susceptible to multiple diseases and insects. We recommend avoiding this species. |
